PETALING JAYA: Polis berjaya menahan suspek yang terlibat dalam kes menembak mati seorang pengurus operasi Ambank di Subang Jaya bulan lalu. Ketua Polis Negara, Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar berkata pasukan Ops Cantas Bukit Aman berjaya menahan lelaki berkenaan di Johor Baru awal pagi Ahad. Pada 23 Oktober lalu, seorang pengawal keselamatan menembak mati pegawai bank itu ketika merompak cawangan bank berkenaan dalam kejadian di Jalan USJ 2, Subang Jaya, Selangor. Pengawal keselamatan itu yang sebenarnya bertugas di bank lain, hadir bertugas di Ambank cawangan berkenaan bagi menggantikan orang lain yang tidak datang bekerja. Suspek berjaya melarikan wang berjumlah RM450,000 dengan menaiki sebuah motosikal. Polis telah menahan tujuh individu termasuk saudara serta rakan suspek pengawal keselamatan berkenaan. BERITA LANJUT MENYUSUL PETALING JAYA: Police have confirmed the arrest of the main suspect in the fatal shooting of AmBank officer Norazita Abu Talib. In a press statement, Federal Criminal Investigation Department director Datuk Hadi Ho Abdullah said the man was arrested in Kampung Belungkor, Kota Tinggi, Johor, about 7am.   A special Ops Cantas  team managed to track down the suspect in Johor.   He said the hunt for the man, believed to be a foreigner, had come to an end after three weeks' of pursuit.   Hadi added that police were now probing whether the suspect was hiding in the village or was planning to leave the country for Indonesia.   "We are grateful for the cooperation of the public in supplying information to the police.   "The main suspect in the shooting and robbery has been detained," he said.   Police have since detained seven people, including friends and relatives of the guard.   Earlier, Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar had announced the capture via his Twitter account and praised Bukit Aman's Ops Cantas team.
