Focusing on illegal immigrants here, Muhyiddin said the Government would not allow them to work or clear land illegally.

If there was not enough space to keep illegals, a suitable place would be set up to hold them before they were charge and deported, he said.

Illegal foreign workers in Cameron Highlands may be legalised so that they may continue to work in farms here.

Natural Resources and Environment Minister Datuk Seri G.Palanivel said this when asked about farmers here needing workers,legal or not.

"The Deputy Prime Minister (Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin) did talk about ... legalising them, work permit and all that."
"Within two month or so, the Immigration (Department) and Home Affairs (Ministry) might legalise (them)," he told reporters after the Cameron Highlands flash floods and landslides special meeting.
