Planning a trip in italy by train? Posted: 23 Oct 2011 07:17 AM PDT i have visited the Trenitalia website. There are two places that I'd like to go to Florence and Pisa. Since Pisa is small i was thinking of taking an early train and then going to Florence after that and return to Rome (where I'd be staying). But in the website I tried booking a train from Pisa to Florence but N/A Does any one know if the trip is possible Rome > Pisa > Florence > Rome Answer on Planning a trip in italy by train? You can book in advance: Roma Termini (08:07) - Pisa (10:57) - € 39.50 Firenze (21:40 last) - Roma (23:13) - € 44.00 The trains from Pisa to Florence (Firenze) are regional trains; tickets (€ 5.80/€8.70[2nd/1st class]) cannot be booked in advance.
