Planning a trip in italy by train?

Posted: 23 Oct 2011 07:17 AM PDT

i have visited the Trenitalia website. There are two places that I'd like to go to Florence and Pisa. Since Pisa is small i was thinking of taking an early train and then going to Florence after that and return to Rome (where I'd be staying). But in the website I tried booking a train from Pisa to Florence but N/A

Does any one know if the trip is possible

Rome > Pisa > Florence > Rome

Answer on Planning a trip in italy by train?

You can book in advance:

Roma Termini (08:07) - Pisa (10:57) - € 39.50

Firenze (21:40 last) - Roma (23:13) - € 44.00

The trains from Pisa to Florence (Firenze) are regional trains; tickets (€ 5.80/€8.70[2nd/1st class]) cannot be booked in advance. Just get your ticket either in Rome or Pisa and step on the train..

dept. Pisa: 13:32; 13:54; 14:32

arr. Firenze 14:33; 15:03; 15:33
