PRK Kuala Besut bangkitkan kembali isu UG?

Posted: 29 Jun 2013 08:24 PM PDT

Zulkifli Sulong

Ia terpaksa diadakan ekoran kematian Adunnya, Dr. A. Rahman Mokhtar pada 26 Jun lalu.
Kerusi DUN adalah Galas (PAS), Bukit Selambau (PKR), Batang Air (BN), Penanti (PKR),  Manek Urai (PAS), Permatang Pasir (PAS), Bagan Pinang (BN), Tenang (BN), Merlimau (BN), Kerdau (BN).
KRITIKAL

MACC to investigate indelible ink fiasco

Posted: 29 Jun 2013 08:16 PM PDT

The Malaysian Anti -Corruption Commission (MACC) has set up a task force to investigate the indelible ink fiasco, focusing on whether there was a criminal breach of trust or misuse of power in the purchase of the ink.
The head of the commission's investigations department Datuk Mustafar Ali confirmed the probe but declined to elaborate further.
But The Malaysian Insider understands that the task force was set up last week. There has been a public outcry over the issues surrounding the use of the indelible ink at the May 5 polls.
Adopted as a security measure to ensure that voters only voted once and to assure Malaysians that the polls were fair, the ink was meant to stay for a few days. But voters noted that the ink could be scrubbed off. The Election Commission was embarrassed by this disclosure and clarified that a diluted form of ink was used to comply with halal standards. But in Parliament this past week, the tale of the indelible ink got longer.
Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim admitted during the Dewan Rakyat session that the indelible ink used in the general election contained food colouring.

Pembekal dakwat kekal tak boleh didedah atas sebab keselamatan?

Posted: 29 Jun 2013 08:09 PM PDT

Tembelang mereka semakin jelas.
Wow !  dasyat !...tak lojik langsung,, semakin lucu pula jadinya.. Selama ini pembelian  senjata perang termasuk kapal selam pun tidak menjadi rahsia,, apa jadahnya pembekal dakwat (berperisa makanan) mahu dirahsiakan?  Apa kena mengena dengan isu keselamatan?  Keselamatan siapa yang mereka nak jaga? Ish, ish, ish !!  Lagi banyak bercakap semakin jelas kebodohan pak-pak Menteri ni. -  rahimothman

PRK K.Besut kritikal, sangat penting, kata Azmin

Posted: 29 Jun 2013 07:57 PM PDT

Samseng Politik: Kereta ADUN disimbah cat, dilontar batu

Posted: 29 Jun 2013 07:33 PM PDT

Najib’s new brain trust - Idris Jala, Omar Mustapha et al - draws ire of the Mahathirists

Posted: 29 Jun 2013 07:32 PM PDT

Idris JalaOne lingering criticism against Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, following the disappointing performance of the Barisan Nasional in GE13, is how he has allowed government thinking and the election strategy to be outsourced to Pemandu and consultants.
Without much encouragement, Umno politicians and even those in the PM's inner circle of businessmen can rattle off the names of those whom they believe Najib relied on too heavily in the last 24 months before the general election on May 5.
These include Datuk Seri Idris Jala of the Performance Management Delivery Unit, or Pemandu; a government outfit whose collection of highly-paid consultants were unsuccessful in persuading Malaysians that the crime situation had improved and that jaw-dropping economic statistics were not pie-in-the-sky hyperbole.
Then there were the likes of Omar Mustapha, his brand advisers, his media strategists including some highly paid former members of Tony Blair's election team.
Since May 5, there has been mounting pressure from Dr Mahathir Mohamad, Tun Daim Zainuddin and other senior Umno personalities for Najib to get rid of all his strategists and take control of government decision-making.
They and other critics in Umno would not have been pleased with what happened two Wednesdays ago, on June19, when the Prime Minister, his Cabinet colleagues and the Chief Secretary of the government sat through several hours of presentation by Idris and a collection of individuals being shaped up as the government's new brains trust. The next day, the experts' panel appeared before deputy ministers, secretary-generals from 21 ministries and other senior civil servants.
The brains' trust includes Tan Sri Yong Poh Kon, Dr Chandra Muzaffar, banker Stephen Hagger, Tan Sri Ambrin Buang and Air Asia's Tan Sri Tony Fernandes. Their brief: to discuss issues that affected BN's performance in GE13 and suggest ideas and policies to help regain support for the coalition.
The Malaysian Insider understands that at the workshop on June 19, Idris Jala did an analysis of the GE13. He also touched on the issues raised by the public before the polls and looked at the trend of voting among Chinese and urban voters.
He also looked forward to GE14. The brains trust identified racial polarisation, distrust in public institutions, the different education streams, rising crime and corruption as issues that may have affected BN's performance.

RM30 BILLION CHARGE AT SEB: Enough to short-circuit Malaysia into bankruptcy!

Posted: 29 Jun 2013 09:25 AM PDT

RM30 BILLION CHARGE AT SEB: Enough to short-circuit Malaysia into bankruptcy!
The State of Sarawak is just recovering from hours plunged in darkness, a situation that threatened countless lives.
Sarawak Electricity boss Torstein Dale Sjotveit has now issued a personal apology, admitting the blackout was triggered by the new Bakun Dam hydro-electric plant, which is supposed to be powering  through a dramatic modernisation programme.
Since he is unable to identify the problem so far, this will do little to reassure sceptics of his grandiose project to build several more mega-dams across the rainforest state, with the proclaimed intention of turning Sarawak into an industrial zone.
Explain the RM30 billion charge!
However, this is not the only example of Torstein keeping Sarawak in the dark. What about the staggering and unprecedented charge of RM30billion that has been raised on the publicly owned company since 2011?
This is a simply enormous world class borrowing requirement.  And yet, what information do we have?  Sarawak Energy has not issued an Annual Report since 2010 and we are now in mid-2013.
Two RM15bn charges available on-line for all to see. If these are not what they seem then Sarawak needs a fuller explanation on what money has been raised, how it has been raised and on what it has been spent – not an information blackout.
This is a company funded by the taxpayers and electricity users of Sarawak and ultimately they are the guarantors behind this borrowing. So why have Mr Sjotveit and his boss Taib Mahmud been keeping everyone in the dark with this two year information blackout?
Worse, it appears that Mr Torstein Sjotveit has sought to give the impression that Sarawak Energy has not actually raised the money after all, even though the charge is officially listed in the register of company records.
Charges 18 and 19 on the company consist of two issues of Sukuk Islamic bonds worth RM15bn, organised by the fund management company TMF/Equity Trust. They were raised in June 2011 and remain unsatisfied.

INDELIBLE INK: Crystal clear breach of public trust but not a squeak from Transparency Minister Paul Low

Posted: 29 Jun 2013 09:22 AM PDT

If the word Misfeasance is interpreted by Wikipedia as someone taking inappropriate action or give intentionally incorrect advice, in my opinion, the Election Commission Chairman, Abdul Aziz Yusof and his deputy, Wan Ahmad Wan Omar, have committed it!
Both no longer enjoy public confidence, and If they do not resign, the Opposition should table a motion in parliament for the plea to be made to the Yang Dipertuan Agong to sack them, and the entire council, so as to protect the good name of the Agong.
INDELIBLE INK: Crystal clear breach of public trust but not a squeak from Transparency Minister Paul Low The blatant lies told by the Election Commission duo about the controversial ink used in the last General Election also calls for a special inquiry by the Public Accounts Committee of Parliament and the Auditor General's office so that the truth can be known to the public and a decision should also be made to see if there was indeed a breach of public trust and an act of misfeasance.
At least in my opinion, the breach of trust is criminal in nature as it involves a total of RM7.1 million of public funds - and the EC chairman and his deputy were found to be anything but honest about the use of indelible ink.
As a trained chemist, with my career background in printing ink, paint and emulsion polymer, I have followed through the entire argument about the ink being "indelible", and I found it most shocking and disgusting to now hear from the Minister in the Prime Minister's department, Shahidan Kassim that there was indeed no silver nitrate in the ink used.
As we all know, it is the silver nitrate in the ink that makes it indelible. If you were to accidentally spill an aqueous solution of silver nitrate on your hand, the black mark on your skin will remain for over a week before it can be gradually removed. This is the reason why indelible inks worldwide, which are often referred to as election ink, are produced using silver nitrate.
All along the EC chairman, Abdul Aziz Yusof himself had claimed that there was a letter from the Ministry of Health stating that anything about 1% solution of silver nitrate could be carcinogenic or causing damage to the kidneys. He did not even for once mention that the ink was nothing but food colouring.
As far as I know, a 2-percent aqueous solution of silver nitrate is used in the simple technique of cleaning the eyes of newborn infants as a preventive measure for neonatal conjunctivitis.
The Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) of silver nitrate has no specific mention of its carcinogenic or other health effects. That the EC had received a letter from the Ministry of Health stating that anything more than 1% silver nitrate could have harmful health effects is nothing but a blatant lie by Abdul Aziz himself, now that even the Health Minister had denied the existence of such a letter.
No one in the right mind, except perhaps Abdul Aziz, would even dare say that silver nitrate could cause cancer or damage to the kidneys.

RUPA-RUPANYA DAKWAT BERPERISA MAKANAN ITU ADA KELASNYA TERSENDIRI....

Posted: 29 Jun 2013 07:33 AM PDT

Pasca PRU13: 'Pakatan dinafikan 4 kerusi Sabah ekoran pengundi meragukan'

Posted: 29 Jun 2013 07:03 AM PDT

Read More / Baca Lagi >>

SPRM: 400 fail berkaitan dakwaan rasuah Taib diteliti..!!! Kalau tak de kes...nak cakap macam mana...???

Posted: 29 Jun 2013 07:01 AM PDT

'Siasat Taib lama kerana banyak dokumen, saksi'

DAKWAAN IJAZAH PALSU WAJIB DISIASAT

Posted: 29 Jun 2013 06:46 AM PDT

MONEYLENDERS THANKS TO DR MAHATHIR

Posted: 29 Jun 2013 06:45 AM PDT

By : ELIZABETH ZACHARIAH
A bank union has slammed former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad for unleashing a flood of moneylenders in the country.
"The financial plan touted by the Mahathir administration has seen a proliferation of moneylenders.  One can see them in almost every corner of town, including rural areas. One wonders why so many licenses are issued and who are they issued to," said the Sarawak Bank Employees' Union today.
It was concerned about the high interest rates charged by these moneylenders, which could be up to 134% per year.
Actually, under the Money Lenders Act, the interest rate shouldn't be more than 1.55 a month or 18% a year, it pointed out.
The union has long been critical of Dr Mahathir's Financial Master Plan which forced the merger of banks and finance companies.
Its new take on it is that it has driven credit underground.
"This is because as banks get bigger, they are no longer interested in small business and micro credit."
It said there are moneylenders charging RM410 per month for a year for a RM3,000 loan.
It called on Bank Negara and the government to take action.

The King's Speech and Mob Judgment

Posted: 29 Jun 2013 06:42 AM PDT

A non-issue has become a contentious point by some BN MPs. Debates and opposing views on the King's Speech are to be treated and judged the same as the slurs made against the King outside parliament- as rebellion against the King.
What is happening here? The standards of mob or crowd judgement –hysterical, unreasonable and clueless are being adopted by mob leaders inside parliament. The leaders are easily identified- they shout the loudest in parliament and appoint themselves as leaders and spokesmen for the mob outside.

Kuala Besut: Salah SPR jika kedudukan 16-16

Posted: 29 Jun 2013 06:40 AM PDT

Kerusi Kuala Besut kosong berikutan kematian Adunnya, Dr A Rahman Mokhtar baru-baru ini.
