He claimed the politician had assembled numerous people to turn up and sabotage his event in Macallum Street Ghaut where 1Malaysia hampers were being given out. "There were only 1,000 such hampers to be given to those who had earlier registered but many other people, who did not register, turned up. "Those who failed to get the hampers were, of course, angry, and they vented their anger in a Chinese newspaper," he told reporters yesterday. Loke said he knew who was behind all this, but he does not want to identify the man as "I do not want to drop to his level".
