Just wondered how expensive it is in Italy? staying for 2 weeks, amaldi coast Need money for food,drink and day trips/spending money.

What are the average prices for evening meals/drinks general stuff realy comapred to UK

I know it all depends on the exchange rate but just wanted an idea how the prices compare to UK

Italy is reasonable to live and dine but you have to keep a check on menu pricing, eating outside is more expensive.

Also near to places of interest can be costly, learnt the hard way paying ?60 for 4 coffees and 4 slices of apple tart !!!

Go to travel shops for tours, been there 5 times so cant be that bad

I found it reasonable compared to Ireland so you should find it even cheaper,
