My mom keeps talking about going on vacation without me :[?

every single summer since i was born we would go somewhere on vacation. florida, hawaii, canada, massachusetts, washington, england, scotland, washington dc, new york, new orleans, etc. and this year she was talking about going to italy and i said "yay" and when i said that my dad started smirking at me and i said "what?" and he said "your not going" so apparently its just my parents going and their leaving me home alone for a week. and its so out of the blue that im kinda left stuck here saying wth? i dont want to sound spoiled or anything its just that it came as such a shock to me that all of a sudden randomly their not taking me anymore and they didnt even tell me or sit down and talk to me about why im not going. and it does hurt my feelings but it wouldnt really be that big of deal if my mom didnt constantly talk about going and asking my dad which stuff he'd rather do when they are there right in front of me. its like those snobby girls in high school that talk about how great so and so's party is going to be right in front of someone who wasnt invited. and yea i have to admit it hurts. what should i say to my mom to if not let me go then to at least stop talking about it in front of me like im the loser girl who wasnt invited to the great high school party?

I would have killed for a week away from my folks at your age!!!!

(But I'd bet there's a surprise here somewhere)
