Kuasa Eksekutif Melampau, SPR Keliru

Posted: 10 Jul 2011 09:05 PM PDT

Bongkarr...Inilah Kenyataan "Penipu" Panglima Patriot..

Posted: 10 Jul 2011 09:01 PM PDT

Gempar!Arwah Baharuddin Bukan Hanya Terkena Bom Asap Tapi Mangsa Keganasan Polis Ini Cedera Teruk, 4 Tulang Dada Patah & 3 Batang Gigi Patah.

Posted: 10 Jul 2011 08:59 PM PDT

Pasca Bersih : Pemuda PAS gesa siasat polis ganas

Posted: 10 Jul 2011 08:46 PM PDT

KUALA LUMPUR, 11 Julai: Dewan Pemuda PAS Pusat (DPPP) menuntut agar satu siasatan dibuat kepada beberapa insiden keganasan pihak polis ketika cuba menghalang Himpunan Aman Bersih 2.0 9 Julai lepas.

Major defeat for the BN - Matthias Chang

Posted: 10 Jul 2011 08:44 PM PDT

Barisan Nasional's War of Intimidation has backfired. Malaysians no longer fear the sight of armed security forces, the threat of racial riots and or the Communist bogey. Pictures of the peaceful determination and resolve of the Bersih demonstrators say it all. Objective Malaysians (the silent majority) cannot but be impressed with the maturity and faith of those who were willing to face arrest and police intimidation to uphold their principles.
Yes, Malaysia is not Tunisia, Egypt, Bahrain, Yemen etc. but there is a common thread – the people's frustrations (real or otherwise) and the need for expressing their discontent cannot be suppressed. The arrogance of power is no match for grass-root activism.
It is indeed ironic that the "1Malaysia" slogan of the Prime Minister (a united multi- racial Malaysia) was reflected more in the ranks of the Bersih 2.0 campaign on 9th July 2011 than in the ranks of political opportunist and upstart Khairy Jamaluddin's miniscule band of "Red Shirts" provocateurs. Perkasa as predicted had no mass following and was totally absent in spite of its provocative bravado.

Forever in denial mode, there is no hope left for the BN

Posted: 10 Jul 2011 08:43 PM PDT

Forever in denial mode, there is no hope left for the BNCome on BN. Please get this into your heads. The Bersih Rally on July 9 was an outstanding success for its organisers and won the hearts and minds of Malaysians here and overseas. Many Singapore and Myanmar folk are now beginning to admire the brave Malaysians who stood up for their beliefs and principles.
Only fools and mad men would deny what is so obviously clear. So stop it. Stop the propaganda and white-washing. Repent and offer reform or forever hold your peace.
As high as 9 out 10 Malaysians would agree with this surmise, but no - not the powers that be. For some reason or other, they must resort to bare-faced lies, shenanigans, dramas of yesterdays and totally out-dated thought and strategies to defuse the A-grade bomb they personally created and exploded on behalf of their boss - Najib Razak.

Raya Sakan : Imelda Rosmah dan cincin nilai RM24.4 juta

Posted: 10 Jul 2011 08:40 PM PDT

Ingatkah kita dengan sejarah Imelda Marcos, wanita no.1 Filipina.

Ketika rakyat susah Imelda berbelanja mewah.

Pembelian cincin belian bernilai RM24.4 juta... Ia dibawa masuk tanpa sebarang cukai !!!

Bersih 2.0 : Najib gives Malaysia an international black eye - John Malott

Posted: 10 Jul 2011 08:34 PM PDT

Najib gives Malaysia an international black eye - John MalottBernama claims in an article today that Bersih's goal all along was to tarnish Malaysia's image abroad.
Bernama has it totally backwards.
It is the actions of Najib Tun Razak and his government over the past two weeks, and the police crackdown yesterday, that have tarnished Malaysia's international standing.
In most parts of the civilized world, you gain credit by allowing your citizens to air their views. Cracking down on your own people is something that countries like China and North Korea and Zimbabawe do.
Allowing Bersih to hold their rally would have raised both Malaysia's and Najib's image abroad.
Matthias Chang, who was a political secretary to former Prime Minister Manathir Mohamed, said it best ten days ago when he referred to the government's attitude and actions towards Bersih as "heavy-handed" and "sheer stupidity."

BERSIH 2.0 overcomes the police state

Posted: 10 Jul 2011 08:16 PM PDT

 by William de Cruz,
Malaysians and their supporters gathered in capital cities around the world today in Bersih 2.0 Global solidarity walks as the Opposition leader in their home country lay injured after a violent government crackdown on a peaceful Kuala Lumpur call for electoral reform.
An estimated 50,000 Malaysians took to the streets of KL in defiance of a government ban and even as Bersih 2.0 leaders were arrested.
Helicopters hovered over the capital amid heavy rains and Federal Reserve Unit troops blocked KL's main arterial roads, but Malaysians proved unstoppable in their determination to stare down a belligerent government that had disallowed and demonised a public gathering for free and fair elections.

My Bersih 2.0 Experience

Posted: 10 Jul 2011 08:15 PM PDT

By Marina Mahathir
So I went.
I have to say that the night before I had many many misgivings, especially after reading about the army doing exercises with the FRU. Could the government seriously be contemplating shooting their own people? Who knows? My stomach was in knots thinking about the many young people I knew who were intent on going, including my daughter. Would I be able to forgive myself if something happened to them?
After seeking advice from various friends, I finally decided that I could not stay safely at home while my daughter, friends and colleagues faced possible danger. I had to walk with them. Besides even if I stayed home, I would have spent all my time worrying. So I had to go.
A friend who lived in the city offered to be my protector and together we devised a plan on what to do. Hubby was supportive and gave some advice on how to stay safe. My neighbours also wanted to come along. So fairly earlyish, my friend drove over to get me with no problem and we headed back into the city. Despite the roadblocks in some areas, we encountered no problems. In fact driving into KL was so pleasant because the roads were so clear. The police directed traffic where they had to and were generally cooperative ( except for one we saw arguing with a man trying to get into his own condo). We got to a roadblock in the KLCC area and my friend explained that he lived in the area and they let us through, four people in a car dressed as if we were going hiking!

‘Lady of Liberty’ at Bersih march draws online support

Posted: 10 Jul 2011 07:57 PM PDT

A screenshot of "Malaysian Lady of Liberty" as of 9.45am July 11 2011.
KUALA LUMPUR, July 11 — Quiet has settled over Saturday's chaos but one image is still making waves on the Internet — the picture of an elderly woman in yellow, drenched in rain and chemical-laced water, walking away from riot police while clutching on to a long-stemmed flower and a near-empty mineral water bottle. She is Annie Ooi Siew Lan, a 65-year-old retired English teacher who took a bus from Setapak in the early morning of July 9 to join thousands of others in Bersih 2.0's march for free and fair elections. An unknown man had offered her the flower in the morning and she waved it like a flag throughout the four-hour march.
Netizens have dubbed her "Aunty Bersih", and even Malaysia's "Lady of Liberty", for placing her health and safety at risk to join a march the government had declared illegal.
