US Military personnel are allowed generous extra baggage allowance when traveling on orders with most US airlines. I don't think wives of military personnel are allowed extra baggage, so you most likely will have to abide by the same rules as other passengers. You might want to give your airline a call and ask, if you're bringing items for your husband, hopefully a sympathetic agent or supervisor can accomodate you. At least I hope they would.

No. You have to be born in Italy. My sister was born in Spain but I was not. She has dual citizenship but I do not.

I went to Italy last spring and visited man wineries in Tuscany. I fell in love with the artwork with the logo of the Chianti region or the black rooster. I was backpacking and thought I could get some art at home bc I couldnt carry it. I cant find anything here in the states. I want a poster, art, anything for the wall with the chianti classico black rooster on it. Thanks

i think it was. torres seen his number he looked straight at gerrard... then gerrard turned away in disgust... i think this is the last straw for the players and for rafa...

you should always have your best players on the pitch if they are fit enough to play.



the fat waiter is probably thinking he can get better job opportunities somewhere in spain or italy if he wins the europa league rather than getting the 4th place we need... we should be trying to get both not just the one.

The most important feat in Rome's success in conquering Italy was its conquest of the Samnites, (in the Abruzzi and Molise regions) their greatest foe in this. This was facilitated by a treaty the Samnites signed that was especially disadvantageous to the Samnites, concerning a boundary along the Larii river.



Rome's further conquests were facilitated by a system of roads leading from Rome to its foederati - so called "allies" - in the rest of Italy. These allowed Rome to send troops to this areas quickly and efficiently.



Her rule was ironically consolidated by a rebellion, which led to the Roman Civil War, also called the Social War. The only way Rome was able to win this war (led by Samnites) was by offering the foederati what they asked for, which was full rights as Roman citizens.

Italy emerged from this war, more united than ever.

Ok there's this guy I know, I speak to sometimes I don't fancy him though. However the thing is I catch him staring at me quite a lot and today he asked me to help him pull this lid of a pen (it was stuck) and our hands were touching and everything quite a lot when he could have asked one of his friends to help. He talks to my friend quite a bit but when he does his eyes kind of go towards me. Although he says he thought this girl who lives in italy and was at our school for one week (she came on monday and leaves tomorrow) was fit he only said it after all his friends agreed with the person who said it first. I dunno. What do you think?

I think it's authentic, here are my reasons:

-There are traces of type AB blood, the same type of blood on the Sudarium of Oviedo, which was used to wash Jesus' face.

-No one has ever been able to recreate the image.

-The image can only be made from a power blast of radiation.

-It is believed to be a negative image, as the negative pictures of it appear to be better than the positives. A negative image is caused from light

-It has a credible history (After Christ's ascension, the shroud, which was first seen in Christ's empty tomb, was taken to Edessa, to a king that Jesus promised to heal. The shroud healed the king and remained in Edessa until the 10th century, when Muslim leaders began to man-handle the shroud. A Byzantine force took the shroud to Constantinople and paraded it around the city with the face facing up [thus originated the Eastern-Orthodox Feast of the Holy Face]. In 1204, the crusaders that sacked Constantinople brought the Shroud to Europe. It satyed in the house of a night until the 14th century [even still, at that time it was called the Edessa Cloth] where it was examined by the Catholic Church. The Church called it a fraud [the only way to prove it's authenticity with modern day science, which was lacked in Europe at that time]. It was then brought to Turin, in northern Italy, where it was caled the Shroud of Turin).

I would like to know what I need to do to become a Registered partnership in Sweden. I am from Italy and I have been living with my girlfriend for 3 years. She is not EU so she needs to apply for a residence card here in Sweden. In order to do this, we need to provide a registered partnership certificate to the Immigration.

Does anyone know how to get a registered partnership certificate?

You should first know that a registered partnership is the same thing as a civil union. In other words, it's basically marriage without the church under Swedish law.



You don't say where you've been living with your girlfriend, which is needed to give you the correct information. Are both of you currently in Sweden, or Italy, or are you now living in separate countries?



If you're both in Sweden:

-First you have to fill out a form that shows there's no reason the two of you can't form a partnership (ie you're not already married). Unfortunately, I can only find the form in Swedish. If you visit your local Skatteverket office, they may have it in English or be able to help you fill it out (if you don't read Swedish). Then you return it to your local tax office (skattekontor). They send back a certificate once everything's checked out.

Then you need to look up marriage/partnership officials (vigselforrattare) in your area to book a time to sign the papers. This is handeled by Lansstyrelse. You need to pick your lan and follow the links to the vigselforrattare list.

If one or both of you are outside of Sweden, you need to contact Migrationsverket for help. I believe that you need to have been in Sweden for 2 years before you can bring her in as a partner to be registered in Sweden. Otherwise, you would likely need to do it in Italy.. but I don't think Italy has registered partnerships (maybe you know this better than I do). It may require marriage in Italy in this case, but the information isn't really clear. The migration office will be able to help.

Army Leave Question - Help?

Hi,

So I just graduated AIT and am currently on 2 weeks HRAP (which I know does not count as chargeable leave) and then I will have two additional weeks of regular leave afterward.



At a rate of 2.5 days per month, soldiers may earn up to 30 days leave per year.



My question is, if straight out of AIT I am allowed to take 14 days leave, does that mean I will not be able to take leave again for six months?



I think thats the way it will work out but I just wanted someone to double check.

I leave for Germany in October and my husband and I were very excited because we always wanted to go to Italy for our honeymoon but couldn't afford it (we didnt have a honeymoon at all) and were happy to find out that we would be spending our one year anniversary quite close by and were hoping to be able to take a few days leave to celebrate our anniversary in Italy however it looks like I wont have any leave available at that point... which means we probably wont be able to go....can anyone offer any advice or anything Im missing here?

You can take leave whenever you want. There is no rule saying that leave can only be taken every 6 months. However, when you turn in your DA 31 Leave Form, it has to be approved by your chain of command and it is unlikely that it will be approved since you are a new private who just got to the unit.



If you wish to take leave and do not have the right amount saved up, you can request advanced leave. This is leave that is given to you ahead of time and you will automatically pay it back in subsequent months.

1 week is not long enough for NZ But here is something you could fit in . Fly into Wellington have 1 night there tour up the cable car and look around the town you will get an idea of what a lovely city it is if the weather is good. Then get the ferry 3 or 4 a day from Wellington to picton. takes 3 hours fabulous trip through part of the Marlborough Sounds approx $65 each. Pick up a hire car in Picton about $40 a day Drive via Queen Charlotte Sounds and spend the night in Nelson Take a day trip to Abel tasman National Park Kaiteriteri. . Then drive South to Westport and down the Coast Staying a night in between somewhere and on to Fox Glacier and Franz Joseph area You will see Beautiful lush scenery,Mountains, Glaciers, Seal colonies. and The bluest of Water drop the car off in Christchurch and fly home from there

I saw prices in Italy from July, which was 660 Euros, which is A LOT.



Did the price decrease since then? Also, can you recommend a well-known store to buy it from (preferably a chain of stores like Best Buy, etc.)?

My last trip to Europe was 5 years ago. I was told at the time the rate of exchange at the airports in Europe was a rip off. So I ordered by currency from a local bank, which claimed to "waive" the fee. After watching the rates until they were what I thought to be my best, I found that the bank used an entirely different rate, much to the advantage of the bank. Should I order currency here or wait to I get to England and Italy?

The EU says Spain's economy is safe, when will the UK be bailing it out?

Before the Greek disaster, the EU said Greece was a safe economy, then the UK stepped in with billions to shore up their economy. Now it looks as if they will be back for more UK Taxpayer money by November.



After Greece, the EU said Ireland, Portugal, Spain and Italy were safe economies.



Then Ireland ran to the EU, ECB and the UK to beg for money to save their economy. That cost the UK Taxpayer billions. Now they are talking of Ireland returning for more bail out money before Christmas.



But not to miss a trick, the EU said Portugal's, Spain's and Italy's economies were safe.



Now Portugal has come running begging for a bail out, costing the UK Taxpayer billions as well. Who knows when they will be back for another hand out after this one.



Ever consistent, the EU says that Spain's and Italy's economies are safe.



So, when do you think that Spain will come running with the begging bowl?



I give it until January 2012.

I Need to travel (as cheaply as possible) To Italy i need to get to somewhere near regio de calabria in italy doesn't need to be too close though,Can anyone help me with what the train station in italy is called and how much it will cost me ?

Or any other ways of travelling there cheaply as i normally fly to lamezia by ryanair but they have now stopped it. any other airlines ????

Overnight trains in Europe are fine - you will usually share a cabin with a couple of same-sex people. You can do overnight Paris to Rome then a 7 hour train down south...

I have to say, just like in Italy, people from England don't think and say the same things across the whole country, it depends on your upbringing, what part of the UK you were born in, what education you have, moral values, your age, your experience in life............. maybe one of the best sources of information for you is to look at the TV 'soaps' 'Eastender' which is set in suburbs of working class London(South), Coronation Street, set in the suburbs of working class Manchester(North) and Emmerdale, set in a village location in Yorkshire ( North).............that way you can see 'real' life examples played out and I have to say it really is real life...my mums lives in a village in the Midlands and there are enough things happening to write a never ending script for TV and several thigs from that village have been used as one of Emmerdale's scrift writers lives in the same village as my mum, as does one of the 'stars' who are in the soap..............then if you get stuck with what people would think / say/feel about a situation...put it in a question on YA and ask and you will find you will get lots of different answers.



Add: then you have clearly missed my point ..with me being English it must have got lost in the translation.... you want a list of people who will tell you what English people would accept as if it was written from an 'English' writer, how things would be phased and said! Read again it may make some sense to you now....if not then you certainly have some work to do for an English audience.

If your circumstances have changed i.e you wish to live in Italy and you need to change the terms of your order you or your PO can apply to the court which gave the order stating your reasons, if the court feels that you have completely complied with the conditions and have addressed and worked with your PO the court is able to change the order, you need to speak to your PO regarding this.
